JD Motorsport’s Chris van der Drift will start tomorrow’s Formula Master round 11 from pole position after securing the front running-place, seconds from the end of today’s qualifying session.
The New Zealander posted the best time of 1:21.082 on his final lap, demoting Jenzer Motorsport’s Fabio Leimer who had looked set to claim the top spot. Unable to improve his time, Leimer will start tomorrow’s race from P2 with a best time of 1:21.156.
